Arrow The death of the last Mao Zedong's general

Lu Zhengcao, the last one of New China's first 57 generals, passed away here Tuesday, at the age of106.

In 1955, the People's Republic of China (PRC) first adopted the military ranks and 55 senior officers were granted generals. Two more joined them in 1956 and 1958 respectively.

Mao Xinyu (Chinese: 毛新宇) (born in 1970) is one of Mao Zedong's grandsons.

My Apologies....but your caption was related to the general, thus how would I or anybody else know that he was the grandson. Also, I would have liked to have seen the actual general as I would salute him, but I guess all you could find was his grandson. His grandson nonetheless must be feeling very sad with a grandfather so powerful in his days....poor guy...
