I am looking for any pictures of the Waldau/Lohfelden area, before, during, and after the war. I have found much information and many pictures of Rothwesten, but very little information, and few pictures of Waldau/Lohfelden area of Kassel.
There was a factory there during WW2 called Fieseler Werke II where they built aircraft. After the War was over, it became Kassel Ordnance Shop, where the vehicles used during the War were repaired. Some time around 1950, it was named Waldau Kaserne. This is now part of Kassel Industrial Park. Here is the web page I am working on. Waldau infornation is at the bottom http://www.qsl.net/wd4ngb/kasselpics.htm Can anyone help? Bruce |
