Polish AK soldiers in Wołyń (Western Ukraina) were fighting for freedom against fascists and communists.They are rightly called hereos as well as it schould be.They had to fight with the Germans,Soviets and Ukrainians.History was not gentle for them,but after many years,they were appreciated and got an honourable title of heroes.Morover,they were never defeated.

Polish soldiers of 1 Pułk Strzelców Wileńskich. Intresting that thei are wearing german helmets. Except from french made firearms, and the white eagles on the helmets, thei looks not mouch different from Lithuanian soldiers, that thei fought.
