German leaflet from the Battle of Hurtgenforest. It alludes to the battles of Wallendorf and of Vossenack. Wallendorf at the luxemburgian border was taken by US forces on September 14th 1944 after fierce battles. In the course the Battle of the Bulge german troops recaptured the town, just to loose it ultimately on February 7th 1945. At Vossenack the 28th US-Infantry-Division suffered heavy casualties whereas it even came to panic retreats and sign of disintegration in some units.
