A crash inspector and his crew of No. 53 RAF Repair and Salvage Unit, having located a derelict Hawker Hurricane in the Western Desert, assess the possibility of salvaging the aircraft. The propeller blades conditions suggest a belly landing with not running engine. Note also the poor conditions of the wing leading edge, likely effect of the prolonged use of unpaved and sandy runways. Victor Sierra
