Photo by Walter Sanders of Margarethe Braun, sister of Eva, against romantic Obersalzburg landscape.  By contrast with Eva, Gretl seems to have been a bit of a "goer".  Perhaps to stop her "overgoing it", she was married to fellow-goodtimeperson Hermann Fegelein in June, 1944.  The marriage had issue, in the form of daughter Eva Barbara Fegelein (+1975).  The marriage did not help Hermann Fegelein when he attempted to abandon his post as Himmler's representative in the Bunker.  It remains somewhat unclear whether Eva Braun made any effort to intercede for her brother-in-law.  Best regards, JR.
