70 Years after the end of WW2 there are still 1.300.000 people missing according to the German red cross organization.They receive annually around 10.000 requests about missing pow's,refugees,civilians,civilian prisoners and soldiers.Most requests come from pensioners who want to find out what happened to relatives,friends,when/how they died,where they are buried etc.The research division of the GRC ,for that purpose,has started to study  the Russian archives.
